England cricket

Let’s hope this isn’t turning into a repeat of the last series .

Start well be competitive but then get totally blown away in the last few tests .

Great test match this one, bubbling away, either side can win a pitch that offers something to all, one moment it’s a batters wicket, then it’s a new ball seamers wicket then it has dizzy spin or a random keeping low.

It’s keeping everyone guessing, England might need a 200 run lead or a 300 run lead. Absolutely no idea. Brilliant.

Lead of 192 then, the evening is not a comfortable time to bat on this pitch with an old ball.

Hopefully we can get a couple of wickets in the final 20 minutes.

No, it's almost as if they have given up on this Series and seem determined to keep bowling until they get the line and length correct but unfortunately by the time they do the game is all over.

We’ve played so well in this test match. Just a little bit short with the bat in that second innings.

India have only lost 4 test matches at home in over a decade and one of those was in this series.

Just like afcb v Man City, sometimes there is some honour in defeat. Especially test cricket… if India had been batting in yesterdays evening session we probably would have gone on to win as our spinners would have taken advantage just as theirs did.

They did bat for a few overs yesterday and smashed 50 odd runs! We didn’t bowl well in that last session! Good turn around today. As you said let down with the bat 2nd innings

Not the same conditions though, the heavy roller had been out and a new ball rather than an old one.

I don’t think the blame should be pointed towards young spinners in India. Even Shane Warne wasn’t at his best in India.

We fell short because we didn’t score enough with the bat.

Appear like they are completely disinterested, reminds me of the ashes during Covid in Oz where the players did t really want to be there. We def have to find some bowlers for the future
