Nice to see some fight and some quality but we fully deserve to go down. Shocking performances since December and we were so slow to get going after the restart.

Still beggars belief that we didn't play any friendlies after a 3 month break. I fully believe we would have got at least a point more if we had.

We saw today what this team were actually capable of when they put a shift in. In some ways its a shame we’ll never get to see them play like this again but I think too many players don’t have the character to do it consistently.

We played well today, proud of them to be honest. We just needed ONE more point and we;d have stayed up.

We could say....GLT got Villa that extra point....Callum's right leg cost us a point last week....a few VAR decisions that went against us....but really, its all down to far too many poor games and results. I feel more gutted than I had expected to feel though.
