Glasto

Glasto my ar5e.
A free Boney M and Ottowan concert on the beach next week.

Brown Girl in the Ring anyone?

Saw Boney M at a couple of 1970's weekends - even if it wasn't your thing (and it wasn't mine!) they still put on a bloody good show!!

Corbyn f ucking smashed it but I must say the Foo Fighters are making a pretty good fist of it considering the act they had to follow. ??

Kings Park Seaside special I think, Boney M were very good.

Foo fighters are cleaning up....got to be the strongest first three songs of any set played for ages. They weren't holding anything back with that opening...

Radiohead last night, didn't catch it but honestly was it as good as the Foo Fighters? Tomorrow night, Ed Sherran, is there anything memorable about him ( apart from being a redhead ) ?
Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl, brilliant show/showman, throwback to when " rockkk" wasn't as clean as a whistle. : )

I missed the start of the FF, I assume Learning To Fly was among the first three, what else?

Think they are probably the best headline act in the world at the minute, going by recent performances. They are not my favourite band as such but every time I've caught them on t'telly, they just blow you away. Hit after hit, proper singalong for the audience and the rapport they have is top class too. They give you what you want.

Ed Sheeran should be phoning in sick for tonight. Nice chap and all that but for me, a beige musician, not my kind of music at all and not the kind of act for the last night I'd want.

Oh come on.

People of all ages from 10 to 85 all singing along and holding up their phones in one giant display of middle of the roadism?

What's not to like.

Radiohead were stunning, but get the fact it's not everyone's cup of tea. Amazes me how huge they are for an experimental/pushing boundaries band.
I find FF very dull. Dave Grohl is a top bloke, but should stick to drums. Listen to his stuff with QOTSA .
Best so far for me is Father John Misty....great songs and lyrics wrapped up with a hint of 70's soft rock.

Look at the lefty love ins for an IRA Sympathiser, but course it's all about priorities

Armed forces day invented 9 years ago, rememberance sunday is the national recognition of service rendered.
forces would be better served by capaigning for proper equipment.

when is nurses day, fire service day, police service day?

I see all your super-patriot EDL pals also found something better to do on armed forces day. Hope you had a nice time.

Totally agree all soundbites but no substance.

Not like 'strong and stable' May at all then.
