Loved Defoe during his days with us but I think now it's too late.

It's not about his age, it's because I don't think he'd fit with how we play now and in future.

I think we have missed the boat as he will be in high demand. Would suit us as can play the lone striker role very well. Would still like Eddie to get him.
 
How the bloody hell did we lose to this Everton side. They are abysmal. 3-0 down now.
Oh I know, we created only one effort on target all game (scoring it). That's why!
 
Only put TV it on at half-time, but what I have seen this half so far when Defoe sees sight of goal he tries to hit the target, just went close again but shot blocked.

Only seen Khazri a few times on TV but he doesn't look a bad player, takes a decent corner as well which led to the third goal.
 
Looks like Jermain will be a Sunderland player next season.

Noticed everybody remained on the pitch and the manager and team etc are walking around the pitch to a packed stadium still.

I guess Sunderland aren't too big time charlie to allow fans on the pitch.

3 year deal at aged 33 - he has a good agent.

You can guarantee that they will still be scrabbling around and going through the bins on the last day of the window for everyone's scraps - but only on loan mind.

Still hitting the back of the net at 34.

Murray one year younger doing the same in a league lower.

In our last four matches most of our goals have come from defenders.
