Wonder if he's related to John Archer ? Must be a few old boys on here who know who I'm talking about ! He's in the pic below.

The only home game that team played was v Southend Utd 28 October 1961. We won 3-0 with goals from Archer 2 and Bain. Attendance was 11,572. We finished 3rd that year in Division 3

Tony Nelson was a class act, still playing when I started watching in my own right, 63/64.

Indeed K, me and the siblings were stood behind the away dugout for that match, we were star struck while he was warming up so close to us but his performance was pretty disappointing! I think he came on as right back
