Milos Kerkez

From a less AFCB bias based perspective this transfer does highlight how broken the financial structure of football has become.

Lazio have a 70k seater stadium, finished second in their league last season and will play in the champions league next season. They couldn’t compete with us financially.

AC Milan are one of the biggest clubs in the world and couldn’t compete with us financially in January.

Those worried about a Super league need to wake up, it already exists.

Whilst there's something in that, Lazio could compete but chose not to. They agreed to the players personal terms but didn't want to pay the fee AZ were asking. Not wanting to is different from not able to.

Again good point.
But why do you need to end with a condescending sentence ‘wake up’ at anyone who doesn’t share your opinion.

You're saying we're part of a Super League!? I really don't think so. We may have loadsamoney but there is still a possibility that we could be relegated.

That's exactly why many of those clubs want to break away. They're scared they'll lose their monopoly to 'meaningless clubs'

Lazio's turnover will be bigger than ours next season. At a guess, they'll be around €180m, in part due to their CL involvement. It's purely a footballing decision not to sign Kerkez. They didn't value him at the asking price. We did.

So, according to yesterday's news, he is flying over TODAY for a medical either today or tomorrow.
So over to you flight trackers to keep this hype train going until it's finally confirmed......as Shaw Taylor would say, "Keep 'em peeled".
According to this he’s on his way!

Had to say something negative but couldn't slag off the player or transfer.

We're part of the most watched and therefore richest league in the world.

One of the reasons for that is that the riches are shared among league making us able to compete with Serie A sides who are still feeling the effects of corruption scandals.

I suppose football is better where everyone just stays in their box?

Every other league would do the same if they were in the same situation as the Premier League. I really don't care what other fans from other Leagues think. The Premier Legaue has earned the right to be leading the way financially, and its partly because of us, the fans, that have continued to make this league worthy of watching world wide. Its all just jealousy.
