Germanys looking like a great example of green policy unforeseen consequences clusterf*ck , becoming reliant on the Russians for their energy … Looks like they’ll be back to burning coal this winter

Only Germany buys most of their coal from, errr, Russia. Increasing supply (longer term building new supply) from coal mines across Africa seems to be the plan.

Uncomfortable for the German Greens it must be said. But the lights must stay on somehow, so it's "a necessary evil" to quote them. Similar plans afoot in Austria and the Netherlands.

Whether its through austerity or interest rates, the Tories will always keep us in our place...
And they fool enough of the people enough of the time that it is all the fault of the previous government.
The previous government included the new leader of the Conservative party who will need to hit the ground from day1
