Non - Labour Party

It's a shame really as we end up with a cat and mouse game where the opposition just shoots down government policies but doesn't put up any alternatives. You're right though nsm there's not much to be gained by setting out policies outside of the election period even if they aren't likely to be stolen. By the time the election comes around the policy might not be appropriate and they have to backtrack - losing face for no reason.

This new government look like they may go back on some policies agreed by the previous mob.

With a bit of luck Hinkley being one.

Favourite Corbyn policy? End the evil austerity cuts.

That's an ideology, not a policy.

A few ideas to encourage the shy and retiring unelectables,

And then the follow up to this is to set out how you are going to fund these policies? To which the answer is borrow and increase taxes!

The transport infrastructure is massively dependent on public funding so at worst cost neutral.

Currently the economy is running at a deficit as a result of electable policies which rely on austerity and recession so not delivering a better and fairer country.

The railways will be renationalised by not offering the franchises for renewel when they run out, or cancelling the franchise when they default (like Southern have)

Costs nothing, but allows the profits to be used to improve services and/or cut fares - rather than just going to shareholders as in the current system.

Weird how it works out. I always thought that a Leave vote in the referendum would hit the Tories hard, but the opposite seems to have happened. Labour have imploded and are on the verge of a split and now UKIP seem to be trying to copy them. If anyone was thinking of starting a new political party now would be a good time.

Labour might lose some mps,it happened before with the sdp, depends if the mps have the courage of their convictions.
UKIP are irrelevent now the real work of enacting article 50 has begun.

Liberals still sufering the clegg sell out effect, perhaps their time has gone.

Hard to see what a new party would offer, the referendum campaign didnt suggest there are too many natural born leaders who could attract the floating voters.
