It’s not as if this forum inundated with traffic. Compared to the old Red’N’Black there’s nowhere near the same number of threads. Having an extra match ‘verdict’ thread or two is hardly the end of the world
I like Al's verdict thread. You come off the match thread, gather you thoughts for an hour or so and then post something that isn't as kneejerk as it could have been.If there’s already a post match reaction thread then just post what you were going to say as a long comment, it’s what I do. Idk like:
- Match Thread
- Immediate Reactions
- Match Report
is a pretty good system for discussion.
You STILL sore about that!?I too have been guilty of starting a thread only to be told off by someone who also started a thread on the same subject and posted before I could press send. Rob Trent you know what I mean. No offence taken.
No I'm not still sore Rob. I love the banter on here and can take it.You STILL sore about that!?
Thanks JohnPersonally I think the more threads the merrier.
It's a sign of lively debate. It encourages more and more varied contributions. Its what would be expected to happen on a large and popular site. There are often lots of issues and talking points which arise from games, no need to cram thwm all together. Its more "democratic" and less controlled. Sometimes threads get dominated by a single subject, or argument and abuse between a limited few posters.
Neil would still be able to cut and paste his standard discourses so there's no danger of missing them.
