Pre Match trial of outside area - observations

Your point seemed to be that the heavy handed stewarding was appropriate because of the risk of extremists. I’ve clearly misunderstood.
Visible and active stewarding yes. Heavy handiness no. I don't think it's appropriate but I will personally tolerate the current errors of their ways. If they tidy up their act everyone's happy.

Don’t confuse raising objections to not tolerating.

It defeats me as to why anyone would want to use this outside facility. It is way overpriced and people are being ripped off. Why not just nip down to ones local have a few jars and then go the ground for the game. People are their own worst enemies.

Why not go to the nearest Wetherspoons where the ale is all past it's sell by date but it's cheaper than DC and there's balloon heads in abundance?

Easier to travel without hassle and get to the ground earlier and enjoy the sun,if lucky, watching big screen etc. Even live music, chilled atmosphere. Plenty to enjoy if with friends

There is nothing enjoyable about drinking over priced poor quality gassy lagers and keg ales out of plastic containers.

I prefer bitter but each to their own.

The enjoyment comes from being together with your mates with fellow fans at your club awaiting another prem game. That is something to savour.

Puzzled why you are so negative about that. I don’t drink alcohol much but understand why many love that social gathering to do so.

Often watch the end of the lunchtime ko on the big screen before entering the ground

One can also meet ones mates in a local pub and pay less and drink out of a proper glass. It is not negativity. It is a case of using ones common sense and avoid getting ripped off by paying exorbitant prices.

Ha. I'm going to Chelsea and I can guarantee that I will enjoy my day more than you will boring the young bar staff in your local pub to tears. Maybe you could liven your day up by telling the bus driver where he's going wrong.

Who is 'one' and do you talk like that in real life because I can't imagine for a minute you getting away with it in the RAF. As far as I can see, people have a choice if they want to socialise and drink at the ground or not, so I doubt they need a lecture from someone who doesn't even go. They also have a choice if they want to pay more for a pint than elsewhere.

It looked very popular to me so I suspect the majority welcomed it.
