Is that the same Clough that bought the first one million pound player and the same Redknapp that left almost every club he managed skint (while not losing out himself, obviously)?

Perhaps you can think of some relevant examples instead, ideally some less fond of a brown envelope?

They've all been on it. New signings are always assumed to be shite until they prove otherwise. Unless we sell them, then they are great even if they never did anything of note in an AFCB shirt - see Lys Mousett who was better than Dom Solanke apparently.

Get real, you say. We’re talking about modern day football, vastly different in so many respects to the era’s you reference. Again you show how little you really understand about the business of football today.

And you’re misguided if you think we can eradicate commercialism and materialism, this is now the normality of the world we live in more broadly…unfortunately.

Clough got little Nottingham Forest 2 Euro Cups FFS !

Redknapp got Boscombe out of the old Div 3 ...into 2nd tier football for the first time since they entered the league in 1923 . .FFS 2 !
 
Perhaps we shouldn't take this Game of Football quite so seriously..
