Scott Parker

Well maybe SP has changed his mind.
It does say “ Scott still has emotional ties with Bournemouth” so I don’t really know what’s going on. Also took this from the article “ Woodgate’s contract as caretaker boss expired at the end of the season and is facing an uphill battle to be appointed permanently.”

So maybe there is a ‘third candidate’. ;)

We are all assuming the words of the sun are true, which is a bit of an assumption

It’s a fair point, however unless I’m mistaken then the words of the Sun are all we have to go on regarding the Parker rumours, as they were the ones to break the story in the first place with all other news outlets simply following suit. It could well be they’re talking rubbish (as is often the case), but if so then it’s likely to mean that the initial story was also questionable - in which case we might not be after Parker at all!

Has Parker been using us a leverage for a deal at FFC? Some suggestions of this in reports he's about to extend his stay at Fulham. If so, and after the fiasco last summer, you'd have to ask if we're being run by complete morons. Hmm ... hope to be proved wrong ...

lucky old Fulham!

Earlier this morning in Liverpool Echo.

Rafa Benitez has reportedly emerged as a shock contender for the Everton job.

That is according to Mirror Football, who claim Farhad Moshiri is seriously considering the former Liverpool boss as a successor to Carlo Ancelotti.

The report goes on to cliam that director of football Marcel Brands will spend the next few days making contact with further candidates, with Benitez strongly pushed by Moshiri.

Benitez is reportedly keen to return to the Premier League having also taken charge of Newcastle United from 2016 to 2019.

Other names in latest ’rumours’.

Given Nuno news, Wouldn’t be surprised if palace are considering Parker - hence the new championship comment. Maybe a bit of a bridge in playing style between Roy and Howe?

Maybe Nuno goes to Everton now so not sure where that leaves Eddie tbh. Championship
or wait until the prem sack race in September?

All this bloody nonsense about Parker....he took Fulham up to the PL, a medium to large club in the big picture of English Football .
Fulham lasted 1 season in the PL under Parker....EH took a Tinpot club up and lasted 4 Seasons of Safety !
So why the Typical Forum Hype about this guy ?
