It is the end of an era, and possibly the start of another one but the thing I like about this appointment is it is a statement of intent. We’re not just settling. The Board identified Parker as their target and have tenaciously got him. I’m ok with that.
Talk of a long term project from both sides and the potential to recruit here has allegedly drawn Parker to us.
Sounds like Max is serious about the Premier League, commitment seems to be unwavering.
Delighted that we didn’t get screwed for a massive compensation sum when Fulham clearly no longer wanted him there.
Probably ( with the new coaching staff ) one of the potentially most exciting appointments we could have made.
Feel sorry for Purchy and co but I’m sure EH will come calling whenever he finally takes a job.
Delighted that we can now all focus on preparations for next season.
