Stoke City v AFC Bournemouth

A deeply satisfying result. Solanke excellent in the 2nd half. Christie and Lerma seemed to pop up everywhere. Whole team played well but Zemura really did look very one footed tonight.

Big shout for Stoke pen. Handball. Ref adamant in his no pen decision. It does hit Billing on arm but that would have been a harsh pen, even from this ref
How does the old cliche go ? ‘Seen them given’ Could have been different with VAR.

Great result, proved we can do it on the proverbial wet and windy Tuesday. Solanke my MOM, some great work second half. Defence were good in the main, looked a little dodgy for five mins against the cross, but you can’t argue with 9 hours plus without conceding.

oh, yes…..and I fucking love it when we beat Stoke

Don't think they allow crosses in Afghanistan these days.

We are proving sooo hard to beat. Amazing defensive team effort when the time comes. Jeff was terrific tonight. Superb work rate. Going forward we are a sliver away from absolutely hammering a team. Stacey's crosses are going to reap great rewards this season. Jayden Anthony...just wow. Great night and a statement result.

Teams need to learn how to win, and this group is passing all the tests. Wanna play wide open ... watch us run. Need to grind out a win ... we can do the tough jobs. It's hard to stay level-headed at the moment, these guys look like they really have it together under SP.

October was a very scary month, with five games against top-half opposition. Unbelievable doing, 9 points out of 9!

On the Riverside Rocket heading home already, everything held up to let visiting coaches out : )
Great away performance, did everything we needed to do. The type of performance we hate when a team comes to D.C. and wins : )
Again, another all most complete away showing, just very different to Saturday's.
Thought Cahill was outstanding at the back and with Solanke in attack, it's as if Scotty Parker knows exactly what we need : )

How many yellows is Zemura on now? Is it 4 and a one match suspension? Pearson got one match ban for 4 yellows, didn't he?

Pearson was reported to have had one after the whistle against Peterborough which wasn’t reported on much, so I assume the standard 5 booking 1 game suspension was given.
