Thoughts vs Leeds

First Team
So angry at that. Leeds were there for the taking, they were booing their own players FFS but once again we were gutless and lacked any sort of killer instinct. We literally stopped playing any sort of football. Carbon copy of last week but against a far worse opponent.

This team is mentally so fragile and not helped by a lack of proactivity from GON from the bench. Compared to Marsch who completely changed the game with tactics and substitutions.

We have given GON too long as it is. We will obviously never know the points return if we'd got a proper manager in, but my sense is dallying around might have cost us our spot in this league. Winnable games are passing us by as we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot with an uzi.

This "steadying the ship narrative" was always a little exaggerated as we went from playing Arsenal, City and Liverpool to Wolves, Forest and Newcastle. Reality is we were abysmal against Southampton and West Ham, turgid against Wolves and Brentford and decided to play for 45 minutes against Leeds, Spurs, Forest and Fulham. Leicester probably the only good 90 minute performance under GON and yet he's been given 10 games.

We need a manager ASAP to work with the squad over the break. No excuses here, no "wait till Foley takeover", the Board need to pull their fingers out and do something now. As it stands, they are a bit like GON frowning on the touchline waiting for something to go horribly wrong before acting.

Hard to judge 90 minute performances seeing as we didn't really play any football for 45 minutes, but Tav, Cook, Solanke and Moore were excellent first half. Travers all over the place today and defence unit is a shambles. Set pieces look like someone has dropped a grenade in our penalty area every single time.

Really tough to take, but I think we all saw it coming as soon as they got it to 3-2. Feel for those who were there today, support sounded excellent throughout.

Im here in Leeds, traveled all this way to literally watch no fight in the last 30 minutes …. So far from home, we don’t have a manager, therefore no game plan

Safe trip home...hard enough to watch that bottle job on a stream let alone live. What makes it worse is that Leeds were comically bad first half, could have buried them.

Do you need a lift?

Your hair looks great, and I love your shoes, go for it, the world's your oyster.

Agree with this Liam bar the bit about the board appointing a manager now before BF takes over. I don't know but maybe they have their hands tied somewhat and don't have the authority of the incumbent owner to appoint anyone and agree a remuneration package and they really just have to wait for BF's say so?

Out thought by the league's worst manager imo. Marsch got lucky by throwing on players and hoping. GO must have seen the game turn after we'd scrored our 3rd goal but he didn't react to it. We dropped deeper as is our nature with Solanke defending by our left corner flag at one point. GO stepped in when needed but has no tactical nous. Criminal that weve dropped 6 points from our last two matches having been in comfortable winning positions.

Must engage Dyche...sorry to say but time to try an unproven manager is running out. For a side hopeless on defending corners and free kicks we give away plenty

We wouldn't have scored 2 against Tottenham, or 3 against Leeds with Dyche in charge.

We may have got a draw.

Dyche is yesterday's dinosaur of a manager, and not what we need half way through a season.

Perhaps, against a whole season slog he would have kept us up, but not halfway through.

Why are we not learning?

Totally agree. Dithering, when we should be appointing. The takeover is irrelevant. We have had GO for 3/4 games too many already. We are haemorrhaging points that could keep us up. Poor running of the club.
