The building is the forerunner to the Bear Cross pub not the Kwikfit garage!
Yes just a little joke. They have that picture up in the Shoulder of Mutton as well as some other great old photos.

Lived local to it for most of my life, and I can count on one hand, the amount of times I've been in there.Proper 'locals' pub that is.
Had a similar thing with The Horse and Jockey. Lived near for around 40 years in the first 30 or so years went in around half a dozen times. The last 7 or 8 until it shut it became our local after vacating the Broadway.Lived local to it for most of my life, and I can count on one hand, the amount of times I've been in there.
The doorway is unwelcoming to anyone over 6 feet tall.
Used to live close to the Double Six pub in Turlin Moor. The doorway was unwelcoming to anyone one who didnt live within a two minute radius.Lived local to it for most of my life, and I can count on one hand, the amount of times I've been in there.

The landlord served him, and said "fair play for coming in here dressed like that - but if you ever do again I shall kick the **************** out of you!".
Went in there once to play pool and some miserable old fart spent the entire evening complaining about young people in his pub. To be fair I was 16.Had a similar thing with The Horse and Jockey. Driving from the Humdinger roundabout towards Merley Bird Gardens, if you look left, the indoor structure really stands out.Coming along nicely they say...well what a relief !
Is this f√cking real or what.....ready for when we get in the Premiership eh ?
Wow
Very nearly at the dawn of finally boasting a Premier League legacy.
And investors I guessLet’s not forget Leicester have one of the best training grounds in the world!
Jokes aside, that looks absolutely brilliant and will definitely help in “selling pitch” when trying to sign new players.
Hats off to all involved so far!
