I'd take Tom Carroll and João Teixeira from that lot

Looking at that website I wouldn't bother with any on that list, as if you click on Market Values players in contract are valued and Marcus Rashford value has recently increased to 2.25M

Eddie get on blower to Mourinho!

I'd take Carrick, although he is injury prone, so that could be an issue.

He still reads the game well and can hold the ball up too. We would surely be looking for someone of his experience and quality if they became available to us?

Neil Perrett ?@neilperrettecho 15 hours ago Bournemouth, England
Catching up on #afcb news. Ryan Mason keen to join just days after his best mate Adam Smith signs a four-year deal. #watchthisspace

When I spoke to Eddie Howe the other day, he said: "Neil, I'm being linked with players I've never even heard of!" #afcb

lol.

That latter comment will be Espinosa I'm guessing! Ryan Mason would be good.........him, Mereiles and Arter in the same midfield would bring the necessary fireworks...... Then you could have King, Gradel and Wilson sat ahead of them with less defensive responsibilities......... not bad!

I worry about the Meireles fella. He seems like one of those players that has a good highlight reel. A season here and there sand them ends up in Turkey. That's not normally an indication of a top level player but maybe this is the kind of player we can attract. Just wondering if his motivation is money or he has attitude issues or maybe both.

Bit of both if you ask me! He seemed to fade out at both Liverpool and Chelsea.

According to the Liverpool Echo today our £4mn+ offer for Sinclair was def accepted last month but the player refused. He's to sign for Watford, who won't pay more than £1.5mn, so tribunal will decide.

Did I miss the detail on this? All seems a bit odd. (Sorry - can't post Echo link.)

Not a rumour as such, but there was a piece about the 5 top prospects in Scotland today which mentioned our name alongside Hibs' John McGinn.

I'd love him here and he seems an ideal Eddie Howe player.

Leeds need to find 8 million by the end of the month, so a week basically. Also a friend believes that Cook has a 4 million release clause, might be a good time to get in there and make an offer, just like the bargain we negotiated for Ritchie

Adding Mason AND Cook into our midfield would be superb, it'd totally transform the spine of our side.

Interesting re. Leeds, wonder what's going on there. For all the crap about their owner, he has been signing off the cheques at least, so far.

To meet FFP according to Dean, I imagine redhouse might be able to explain better, I haven't asked Dean for all the details, but I guess it's coming towards the end of their accounting period

Next rumour. Swedish CB Alexander Milosevic. Courtesy of Peter O'Rourke
