Wilson and King

Funny that you always get the most controversial of comments from players when they're on international duty speaking to their countries media.

I actually think King is wasted as a pure poacher. Sure he is a decent finisher but he doesn’t have the instincts of Wilson to be a true fox in the box.

Give him a free role to drift around the pitch if you want the best out of him.

Excuse my ignorance but what do you mean 'he doesn't speak Norwegian like that? Could it be that Google translate has played with his sentence structures? For the record, here's another report from TV2

https://www.tv2.no/a/9886588/

If someone claimed to be quoting say your mother of father. You know how they speak, their choice of words, etc. So you could tell if you thought it was likely they would say that or not. I have heard Josh speak Norwegian on many occasions and he just wouldn't use those words. Quite simply it is too trite and recognisably tabloidly.

The second article was much more believable.

PS. In the second article he says "jeg er lagspiller og må gjøre det jeg er bedt om. "

In English (not using Google mistranslate), "I am a team player and I do what I am asked to do."

That says enough for me to know that the VG article is tabloid sensationalism. But, there are plenty more clues.

Trouble is wilson scored on the last day of last season, I fear he'll have at least 5 games at the start of next season. Don't doubt his work rate for one minute and I'd love to see him come good but.....

There was a Ryan Fraser interview recently where he expressed his frustration about playing out of position. There was no outcry at all about this. The reason? It was with a friendly Ohec journalist who presented the piece from a team player angle rather than a pop at Eddie.

The foreign media obviously have no connection to AFCB so will have no qualms about portraying the interview in the most sensational way possible. With selective quoting it’s easy to change the context of what was said.

I am probably wrong but it seemed that Wilson was always the player hooked over King but to be fair that sometimes meant King played wide. Which says more about Kings ability/adaptability then Wilson’s I guess

if jk’s words have been twisted so badly you’d expect jk himself to come out and publicly deny he meant those things and that his words have been misinterpreted

if he doesn’t then we can draw our own conclusions

Thought King looked off last season, thing he wanted a move away and this is him starting to push for it

Sorry to read this but only one person picks the team and that is the way it has to be. As said before "Shut the door on the way out". After allowing Harry to go through it first of course. Only one person wins if you take on Eddie.
