Howe out

Its ok SDD, Ive only sat 6 yards away since the stadium opened in 2001, not long.

Ive watched him abuse other fans around him and try to pick a fight when they have dared say anything against the team. What I found odd yesterday was the paragon of virtue ripping into Eddie and the players worse than any comments that had received his ire in the past.

I dont care what he does or says, hes a lifelong Bournemouth fan who has had to suffer the highs and lows but I found it a tad hypocritical

If you've got a problem with someone for their real life actions you should have the balls to introduce yourself to them and tell them to their face what your problem is don't you think? Personally I think criticising each other on here should be to do with what they write on here only.

It's like you're the self-appointed anonymous supporter police.

The tiredness point is an interesting one. We haven’t had much zip in our play for sometime but at the same time, we’ve hardly had a congested fixture list too.

One thing I keep hearing is the high intensity of our training. Is this part of the problem? Are we over working the players to such an extent in training they have little left to give for game day?

I know people like to think of Dubai as a jolly. In reality they’ve probably been doing 2 or 3 sessions a day in 30 degree heat. Not a popular opinion, but would allowing them an actual holiday have made them fresher for the run in?

If it’s not over training I’m struggling to understand this tiredness.
If these young men are tired then God help us ! Don't remember hearing our players were tired when we were playing 2 games a week and ripping up the Championship. Tired is part of the premier league malaise, it's a cop out.

Why? He literally moans at peoples comments made during matches on this very site. If he questions other on this site why can I not question him? Or are you saying that its ok for him to call out others but when I point out the, clear to most others on here, hypocracy of his comments, thats not allowed? Thats a pretty weird side to take SDD? Gary is beyond comment?

As Ive already said, he can say what he likes at games, I dont try to have a fight with someone at matches because I disagree with them. Why would I go up to him at the match if he can say what he likes?

The very important difference is general moaning about 'people' or even specific moaning about a person who isn't named against deliberately digging out a specific person for their specific actions when they have no idea who you are. You're acting like an anonymous grass lurking in the crowd somewhere.

Gary only starts the posts, I comment on there.

Hes quick to moan about others on here but when its him shouting at Eddie and the players its not ok to call him out? Ok...

I'm reading Meldrum's book. It's reminded me how together we were in those bad old days of points deductions and transfer embargoes. Eddie created a siege mentality of us against the world. That all appears to have gone now. Too many comfortable players. Too little fresh blood in or hard choices regarding players. Too much tactical rigidity. A serious lack of evolution. The club, as a whole, seems happy with where it is. A (lower) mid table side. There have been plenty of sides that have settled for that in the prem. Most of those are now in the championship.

Do you see the difference in his post vs your post? General criticism of 'supporters' vs specific criticism of an individual that doesn't know who you are. See my previous post.

No, you are right. My bad. I would say in defence though that in the past Ive only responded to his posts about others so by definition he is identified. This time he wasnt. I'll leave it there.

I sometimes wonder if Eddie, the players...and in fact the whole staff and directors ...occasionally read these posts....I find it hard to believe they dont.
I would guess that because of the grip that Money has on the game....that their angles and guidelines on life in the PL at DC are very very different than ours and they might see our opinions as very very detached and unrealistic...I would hope its not like that..but feel sure it is!

We should be doing better with the money spent, we've spent a lot more than Watford the last couple of years and they're a long way ahead of us now.

I wouldn't say our injuries have been as bad as people are making out either, Lewis Cook was the only real long term injury first team player and he was playing poorly before he got injured anyway.
None of our 5-6 best players (on paper) have been injured much this year.

Shhhh.... that doesn’t fit the plucky cheap battlers fighting against the big spending premier giants with all our best players missing narrative.

Hilarious that some of the people saying that Lewis Cooks injury is costing us are the same that didn’t want him to play in front of Surman and Gosling in September....

Our full back injuries and lack of form are what's really cost us this season in my opinion.

We had an England international on multi ks a week at right back and Adam Smith at left back. Half the people lamenting Frannos absence wanted him to retire when he played. Our defence yesterday wasn’t too bad Mephams error aside.it was the keeper, even If Shawn Jalal had been in goal we would have drawn 1-1.

It’s the huge gap between the back four and the four forward players with only two players trying to get around it that’s the issue.

Our defence was dreadful. Clyne didn't stop one cross from McNeil and Rico was arguably worse. Keeper was dreadful but our inability to find a decent left back after trying time and time again, coupled with Daniels' terrible form and subsequent injury has also been a huge issue.
