Non - General Election

So, as a democrat, you fully accept that after 3 years of debate, the people have a chance to re-assess the situation and have another vote. This presumes that democracy didn’t end in 2016.

As a democrat, would you accept the result of this next referendum or should we have one every three years until we get a result you want?

Same tired old argument. I’m not even going there. You have consistently failed to recognise the need for a second vote as it doesn’t suit your agenda and roll out this nonsense every time it comes up. The truth is, brexiteers don’t want a second referendum because they won’t get the result they want.

Maybe it wouldn't be a tired old argument if you ever answered. You want to reverse the result simple as that, why can't you just be honest about it?

I don't really have an agenda fyi. I'm not a brexiteer, I voted remain, I'd be happy enough if we did remain. I do however think we should abide by the result of the referendum, because everyone said we would and I'm a supporter of democracy.

How can you propose a second referendum when you wouldn't accept the result if it didn't go your way? You aren't a supporter of democracy at all you just want a different result. Would you support a third referendum three years after the second if the second one was a remain result?

The British public has to take its head out of its ar#e and get nasty...its no good sat on a comfy couch listening to some scruffy lackbrain journalists prattling on about kicking those bloody cans down road. Same old Sh#t n' Chips in different wrappers!
Tomorrow , for the third time this month I will enter our MPs ' surgery' and let her know the feeling of the public.....she needs it tattooing on her butt tbh....all ive had back from the silly minx is " we have to get it right". .. Ive since told her she would have to ditch her inept Party and go Independent...the Lib Dems will oick her out otherwise!

On what planet have I ever said I wouldn’t accept the result of a second referendum? We have had three years of shambolic behaviour by the people who are supposed to represent us. We have a PM riding a steam roller over the very essence of democracy. The only democratic thing to do is to ask the people what they want the idiots in parliament to do about it. It is idiotic nonsense to suggest that a second referendum is undemocratic when the opposite is true.

I asked you the question and you got upset and refused to answer so I assumed you shared the lib dem view, which is to not accept a leave vote under any circumstances.

How many referendums do you think we need to answer the question?

I’ve answered and you’ve not listened. You hate to be wrong but you are very wrong. There are a multitude of reasons for a second referendum but you ignore them, claim your question hasn’t been answered and roll out tired lame arguments that have no substance.

You answered second time round after getting upset and accusing me of all sorts in your first response. Fair enough if that's your view but with respect all of your multitude of reasons for a second vote boil down to "I didn't like the first result and want it changed".

They are tired and lame arguments because you don't like them and can't argue against the basic fact that we've had a vote already. Another vote lacks credibility from day one because everyone would have ignored the outcome of the first vote and so why would the second hold more sway?

You talk such nonsense sometimes that you are not worthy of a reply. I’m off, talk to you soon.

The problem is it's only the hardcore remainers that want another referendum. Find me someone that voted for Brexit that wants another referendum? What should be on the ballot paper if there is another referendum?

I have just read that McDonnell suggests that Corbyn should lead a caretaker Government if Johnson is toppled.
McDonnell looks up to Marxist, Leninist, Trotskyist ideology, and wants to topple our nation’s way of life and replace it with the MLT philosophies in which he believes.
Lord help us all.

You've posted this crap loads of times without ever explaining yourself.

"Topple out nation's way of life" where are you getting this b*llocks from?

Just the one where data isn't used, and where people in contempt of Parliament aren't running any of the campaigns.

Please say something new. Like Corbyn just expelled 21 of his ministers for doing something he's recently done. Oh, hang on...

I don't think there will ever be an election or referendum where the losing side won't be able to point towards these types of issues.

Personally I'm very uncomfortable with the fact that MPs can deliberately frustrate a result they don't like. When I was a kid my mum would ask me to wash the dishes, I'd deliberately do a terrible job and then never be asked to do it again (that was my plan anyway but she was no mug unfortunately). It seems that Parliament is trying the same tactics - deliberately mess it up then try get the decision reversed. It's underhanded if you ask me.

Why aren't you uncomfortable with my first point? You pass it off with a shrug.

Thats always been the case. Its just on a bigger scale this time. (He said, having just noticed I've passed your point off with a shrug)!
