after 40 mins we started playing and generally played well, still no end product but we were not carved open with ease so am I pleased 1st half no not really, 2nd half yes

I think our expectations of non-playing players are sometimes too high. But we do need him to be at his best.

Did var not check the deliberate elbow on Dan late on ? Looked every inch a red to me.
