AFC Bournemouth v Aston Villa

I think cos they are used to playing to such a great crowd...... we need to be as quiet as possible in the hope it freaks them out. Shouldn't be too difficult!

For heavens' sake, Bill, can't you at least try and cut out the racist, anti-Arab views?

We all know you don't like Arabs, it's getting boring now

Its the age-old nickname we gave them in the Navy during our many visits to ports in the area..purely based on their dress obviously...not racist in any way..but quite rude I will concede.
Its no different to Americans calling us Limeys for our pale skin!
Im not Anti all Arabs...but i'm not keen on some of the attitudes toward Christians in some of their Nations.
I was almost locked up in Dubai for merely asking a woman directions to a shopping mall..a scary incident at the time.

However I will cease to use the word now that youve mentioned it.

That's the problem today, you have to watch everything you say or write, be sure someone somewhere will take offense. ....it seems fine for any religion or creed to say what they like about anyone......but woe betide a white westerner say anything out of place.
Just slipping away to put my steel helmet on.....:grinning:

Cook and Simpson were hung out to dry last night by being started out on the left, when we changed it to three in the middle I felt we did ok and why wait until the 89th minute to make a change and bring on Surridge, eddie continues to baffle me and he appears to be losing it! It's all very well playing your favourite players when things are going well but they clearly aren't now and quite rightly questions are being asked, if something doesn't change really soon we will be relegated.
It's a risky business playing youngsters but at least they play with enthusiasm that's sadly lacking in the team at the moment. Look at Arsenal last night and I know they've got a way better youth set up than ours but I don't know how many inexperienced below 20 year old's they had in their starting eleven last night. I don't think Villa will let us get away with starting as poorly as we have the last two games on Saturday. Personally, I wouldn't have the two Wilson's and Billing anywhere the team at the moment and Francis as an emergency center back only.

Ramsdale

Smith Cook Ake Rico

Fraser Lerma Surman L Cooke Dobra

Surridge
You've got to remember that Arsenal's u23's and u18's are playing top Academy sides every week so it's not such a great divide when they step up to the first team.

Can you believe that Saka was picked straight out of their u18s!

And some woman in the news this week saying that men shouldn't be allowed to be talking about sport at work!

Expecting the same personnel and formation as we had for the Brighton game.
Hoping that Villa will be spent (not so much physically) after their huge high last night. It'll be hard for their squad to reset and context switch. That's my hope anyway.
