If you were the board, would you give EH more money to waste
 
If that's the attitude, why would they want to keep him on as manager? Surely you'd replace him in order to try and protect all your investment.

Luckily, I think the board have a more rounded view of transfers and understand that there will be hits and misses. Especially at our end of the market.
 
To be honest, if Neil Blake offered ME a contract to join AFCB right now, I'd probably turn it down. Unless there is a spectacular turnaround our club is displaying all the attributes of a club in free-fall. If they have witnessed the lack of unity, effort and the general poor performances of our team in recent months, I think whoever joined us now would have to be happy to be playing in the Championship next season. I think this will seriously hinder our chances of getting somebody decent to come here.
If we survive this season we will find it a lot easier to do business in the summer.
The players we have are good enough. They just need to play to their full potential with maximum effort from here on in. I'm not expecting us to sign anybody in this window, not even on loan. Our problem is not personnel, it is attitude.

I am not sure it’s wasted but more the period between investment and return as Eddie’s model is to buy young talent and develop. Unless you spend big on a lerma/ake type player don’t think we will get much return in the remaining 13 games.
 
A new signing now would do nothing...3 or 4 weeks of integration in training for the ' system'...3 or 4 games on the bench... ready for about 5 full games at the end .
We have enough players of better quality than 7 or 8 other clubs at least.
The injury thing needs addressing big style..players injured in 'warm ups' ?...its farcical..something is seriously/comically/ seriously wrong!

Whoever gets onto a field now;
Its down to leadership and desire - End of !

Could also have been Stan - he got rushed back for one game and then disappeared. Presumably not fit enough (one of those that Eddie said wouldn’t have ideally been playing). Hopefully he’s back or nearly back to being fully match fit as he’s got the pace and creative ability to get us goals - could be a huge player for us in the run in (and like having a new signing).

Stress fractures are hardly his fault and he had a recurrence of one apparently.

Can’t wait to see more of him .... he’s direct and pacy.
Looks hungry and has come from an exceptionally tough start in life losing parent early in life and moving countries.
He looks the real deal.

never said sack him. What i am saying is our signings of late havnt been too good. I know you get some that work and some that dont but lately they havnt been good enough.

I think our squad and first 11 is very good but these injuries and not just the ones that are out but also the ones that have had to play when not fit has had a major impact

Stan is just always injured it's getting daft
 
everything I am seeing, hearing & feeling makes me think EH and AFCB have already decided they will be parting company at the end of the season
