Non - Pandemic

Having Just gone through Prostate removal for aggressive cancer,I was looking forward to some relaxing times, watching football, socialising again etc.First chance for a pint down the pub in a long while. Not to be so I’ll take it on the chin and hope that I am blessed, along with everyone else, with a clean bill of health for now and the difficult times ahead.

Which chain? Noah's?
Yeah, three people in the household, sorry only two steaks permitted.

It really is surreal. Suddenly, you have "some inventory of some things" when you typically have shelves fully stocked of everything. The "two per person" rule is to stop hoarding, because like elsewhere toilet paper and tissues seem to be at a great premium. I thought people were scared sh*tless, but pooping still seems to be business as usual.

‘Europe’s borders will close for 30 days from noon tomorrow’ says French president.

I mean wtf when in our lifetimes do you ever hear anything of that magnitude

We will have total economic collapse, at a business, governmental and National level.

So many businesses and households live week to week, and now we have already bankrupt countries offering to prop up anything from airlines to zoos.

This really is quite ****************.

Take care 'Mac9, best wishes for the months ahead.

The only problem is that he’s “recommending “ we don’t go to the pub, not banning us. Are there insurance implications that would cost the government. Serious question.

Have a read on BBC news page about the reaction to all theatres in the West End closing for the foresee able future.
