Jason Tindall

Bloody annoys me that the press were there. The Echo comments page annoys me further. I know he made a mistake but the attitudes on that page are disgusting. I'm sure very few of those commenting on there dont support the club and would rather choose to knock us.

Rant over

Why does it annoy you the press were there?

JT has been a fantastic servant to the club and we owe him a great deal (including for our set pieces which were one shining light from last season). However, I would be even more worried than I already am if we appointed him manager. I just don’t think he has got what it takes. It would also be a completely unimaginative appointment, while also suggesting that we can’t afford to pay him off. Please no.

I would be interested to know if anybody on here would support his appointment? You could argue that with the short turnaround it would be good to have somebody who knows the club and the players. I just don’t think JT would make a good manager.

Ed said they've agreed the club needs to go in a new direction so it won't be JT. That wouldn't make sense.

Just put in the EH leaving thread that keeping him on in the interim offers continuity when we know that Eddie took responsibility for so much across the club - I wouldn’t mind him remaining involved for a longer period on that basis but in agreement with the view here that a fresh head with some managerial track record is needed.

He was always a very vocal voice to the players along with Eddie , but this season , especially towards the end he just seemed to stand there and not say much - a loss of influence perhaps ?
Not sure he would be right at all .

From another point of view you want the players to really go out all guns blazing and prove to a new manager what they can do and fight for their place. They know Tindall and Tindall knows them.
