Brentford- The verdict.

I apologise if I’ve offended you, a good way to relax is rub yourself down with a wet lettuce leaf, a marvellous stress reliever.

You haven’t offended me, I just find it slightly bizarre that what is quite clearly quite an old guy (no offence) cannot stop referring to me. I’m sure there are websites where older gentleman can hook up with younger men but I’m afraid I’m not really into that. And as for your offer to rub me down with a wet lettuce leaf goes, I like it kinky but that is a waste of a good vegetable so I will pass.

Why not say just that instead of giving your life history of promotion seasons and having a pre match breakdown ? If we lose you're all over the place like a rash, when we win you disappear into thin air.

That side got well beaten by Brentford tbf.......it's easy to remember the good games.......are we that far off points wise than last time around.
 
Thought our midfield was excellent in the first half. They seem to be a little more fluid in their positioning and added a lot to attack and defence. Which was a good job as our wide attackers weren’t on it today and our defence just didn't look imposing enough.

Evenly balanced up until Brentford’s second.

Substitutions made us look worse.

see the team then we had then were very fortunate with injuries and they also has a couple of years to establish partnerships ie Daniels and Pugh .
This is a new team, this team in general is a younger squad .
I agree with the full backs though . For me Stacey starts ahead of smith and we really need a decent left back .

that team also consisted of a under rated Surman who’s ball retention was excellent ...

we need a proper energetic left back
 
Big shame but, fine margins & away from home, could have gone either way.
Hats off to Brentford, resilient well organised side & never looked out of the game at all.
We were fine, thought Billing did very well again against another top side.
They nullified L Cook, Brooks & Stan, Bego & Dom looked sharp.
Hard to feel bad though, very good game, we're still in there & 25 games to go.
