Jack Wilshere

I agree, but I'd probably say we should already have been pretty unstoppable given the quality we had already...

It's a side note, but player for player, how does this squad compare with the one that won the Championship? I'd argue it's better...
I think individually the players are "better" but as we've mentioned elsewhere before, that Championship winning team was probably more integrated, worked better as a team.
For one reason or another we haven't seen too many strong partnerships develop with the set of players we have at the moment.

This squad is probably better but the Championship winning squad we were really fortunate with injuries that season.

We hade the ‘telepathy’ between Daniels and Pugh.

The understanding between Francis and Ritchie.

More importantly we saw open entertaining attacking football on a consistent basis in 2014-15.

Also no pressure on the previous team compared to now.

I still think Francis delivery of a ball for a cross in open play was unbelievable

Delighted with this and might be the extra boost we need for our promotion push! I remember when Kermorgant came in and made a big difference (I think the year before we went up)!

And Elphick on record saying how important the Kenwynne Jones signing was for kicking the squad on in the promotion year itself.

Could be a great signing for us if he can stay injury free, I’m well happy with that one.

Potentially could be great but considering he's only managed a grand total of 182 PL appearances in the last 10 years I'm not overly optimistic, especially given how much more physical the Championship is.

Funnily enough his best spell of staying fit was with us. He played in 27 league games out of a possible 31 until he got that broken leg at Spurs near the end of the season.
