Thoughts on the match v Peterborough

Very poor, disjointed and didn’t look like creating anything. One thing is abundantly clear, Anthony is our best winger and has to play. Rogers is so raw I don’t think he’s even reached the slaughter house yet, first start in fairness but he just spent the entire game running into their full back. Don’t know what to do with Brooks, honestly think it’s about time to cut our losses and look to move him on. Been stealing a living for a while now.

First thing I should say is that the visiting fans were fantastic.

Like many less talented sides P’boro stood off us and packed their defence and we just didn’t know how to beat it.

They are not a good side but they still need to be beaten and we didn’t have the skills to do that. It was Hull all over again. Very disappointing.

Not sure about Parker’s selections either. Rogers is not a patch on Anthony and his first touch is dreadful. I also would have Pearson ahead of Brooks who really flatters to deceive.

Thought Stacey played well

One thing I am surprised at is that under Parker I thought we'd have a clear almost methodical pattern of play....I just don't see it...we look extremely disjointed which is why we create nothing.

Could this be start of what Fulham fans warned us about Parkerball?
There seems to be a certain pattern of play emerging.

Stanislas is our best winger.

Not sure about being the start, we played similar against Hull, then soon after went on an amazing run.

No I don't think so....they were a very methodical team with a clear pattern of play ....I think that was what they complained amount....it was all very slow and dull.
We don't seem to have any real pattern to how we play.....I'm not really sure what it is we're trying to do.

Anyone unhappy with 16 points from 18 needs to find a new sport to be unhappy with.
This kind of response frustrates me tbh, probably just as much as the negativity frustrates you. How many points we have now is not as important as us developing a clear and defined pattern of play which will allow us to pick up points consistently over the entire season. The lack of creativity is a worrying trend which will catch up with us.

We won’t win every game Waz, no team does.

You’re completely missing the point. Of course we won’t win every game, but we are regularly looking like we won’t create chances during games. Look back on Fulham’s defeats for example, they at least looked like scoring. It’s worrying.
