Very noticeable that whatever the result Cooper, like Dyche, always criticises the opposition, the officials, the conditions, never his players. They build up a siege mentality by always saying "our players did really well despite the fact that everything's against us". Parker on the other hand...Interesting comments on SSN when interviewing a Forest player before the Spurs game… Asked how important self belief is and he responded by saying how many times they talk about ‘if you don’t believe in yourself no one else will’ something Cooper talks about a lot…
Polar opposite to what Parker feels…
If the club are planning for just one season in PL ....why would they sack Parker and pay him off ? when in their eyes everything is going to planThe problem with all of this is we have no idea whats the club's aim is . For all we know they may be budgeting for one season in the PL purely for financial gain to invest in the longer future of the club. Alternatively to be able to repay some of the debt owed to Max. If their aim is to stay up for any period of time then it would require serious investment. Perhaps this is what Parker was expecting. We don't know what the board told Parker last season other than promotion or busy! The number of signings we made in January were ridiculous compared to other clubs and it's obvious the sole aim was to get promoted . There never looked like a plan to stay in the PL for any period of time which is probably what has upset Parker. However, I get the impression Parker likes players who are ready made and cost money. Does he lack coaching ability? I think it's shocking that he has come out and basically said he doesn't rate his players as good enough and that the fans should expect a few more embarrassing results . Total disrespect to both but then I get the impression that Parker isn't interested in building bonds with supporters. He knows the score and those that sing his name one week will calling for his sacking the next. So with regards to whether he should stay or go ,unless we know what the club want from this season, then, it's hard to say.
Personally I don't like his style of football. I don't like his post match interviews. I don't like his wardrobe. I don't like his demeanour but he shouldn't be sacked for at least another month or two.
The main issue now is how SP gets to motivate the players after that humiliating diabolical disaster yesterday and his poor comments about the existing players to the media of late. One has to wonder what the feeling is in the DR to these comments, not what I would call inspiring, is he in the process of losing the players ?
We definitely require an experienced leader on the pitch who can assist to calm and guide some of the less experienced players during a tough game. Sadly at the moment the players look lost and very disorganized . Does the board need or want to back a manager that the players may have lost faith in or do we need a new face who can not only inspire and get the best out of a player but also keep us in the EPL ?
If we wait too long , it will be a very long season with the current set up and manager ?
PS: I would rather see a motivated manager /coach in a track suit .
Quite a few players have nailed their colours to the mast saying that they want to progress and be better. I haven't seen improvement in any player yet this season. Is any existing skill or ambition being coached out of them?
I'm giving him a couple of months only as my own personal view. I doubt very much the club will sack him for exactly the reason you say. We are going to have to put with Parker regardless of performance and results. If the club are planning for just one season in PL ....why would they sack Parker and pay him off ? when in their eyes everything is going to plan
So if things don't improve , can't see him walking of his own accord so we're stuck with him....I'm giving him a couple of months only as my own personal view. I think so. He won't walk but then why would he? He'll lose millions in compo. I do believe we're stuck with himSo if things don't improve , can't see him walking of his own accord so we're stuck with him....
That’s a massive majority saying sack him. Surely the club have to listen.
I’m guessing the Sprexit irony passed you by.4 people is a massive majority? Bet most of them are those Fulham fans they weirdly hang around this forum to rubbish the guy
Yep!I’m guessing the Sprexit irony passed you by.
