You are a lovely chap aren’t you. Not sure why you need to bring peoples kids into your nastiness.

He has been excellent this year and we have seen him be excellent at this level before. I think he is a confidence player and has had things go wrong that have set him back, along with being thrown in when others have injuries with random partners which is never ideal for a centre half. Good luck to him and I’m glad he has got this contract.

In which case say it was me that spotted the player in Montenegro. One of the reasons i came off here before was my kid who was 13 started getting ‘you are as big a w***ker as your dad’ on some AFCB social media things he did. I don’t know why people would mention someone’s kid to be fair?

I’m perfectly lightened up… just pointing out there’s no need to drag kids into the strange vendettas some people have. I wouldn’t even know or remember who on here has kids.

Well calling you or your son a w**ker is not acceptable clearly.
I had king waZ saying his brother was shagging my mum, not sure thats acceptable either, but I decided not to take offence. Given my mums 88, not sure his brother would be too happy with his comments either

Waz has had kittens a fair few times.
 
Mepham deserves it. He's been one of our better players so far this season and we are desperately short in his position. A lot of our players go through patches of bad form and get stick, Lewis Cook, Billing & even Dom spring to mind. Let's hope Meps does a Dom and fulfills his potential after a long spell of low confidence.

And let's hope that some on here don't go bananas the first time he makes a mistake (because he will, because all players do at some point).

you've previously commented your son (he may be fictitious for all I know) could do a better job than our recruitment team in order to belittle them, as usual
I was of course assuming you were joking so commented in kind

why would I possibly mean your son any harm unless you realise that and are playing the victim?
 
I've always felt there's a good player in there. Even last season, he done a job in every position across the back. He's probably a managers dream player, who will just get out there and do his best, even if it's not his natural position.
 
Looked pretty good last couple of games.

Probably just needed a run, and Parker probably didn't help with his confidence.
 
Impressive and reassuring start to the season, and timely in a position we've all been worried about.

I don't want to be that guy, but there have been false dawns before with Meps, particularly in runs he got under Eddie. He'd start to come good and then either get injured (not his fault) or something stupid would happen and it'd set him right back.

Long may this form and fitness continue, and shove that nagging worry down my throat. Go on and fulfil that big potential Eddie thought he had years ago as a youngster at Brentford.

If people want to reference their own family that’s up to them. Referencing others peoples family members isn’t fair game in my opinion, jest or not. Particularly now I’ve given you the context.

Probably best not to integrate family members with insults. Sorry your son was picked on, Neil. That's horrid for him and you.

I don’t think Neil’s fictitious son would be any worse at recruitment than Blake tbh.
