@DJ don’t normally do this but is the report feature a way forward? I would rather not respond to posts and just report them as derailing valid fan conversations. Does report help with this?
 
If the Owners eventually get things right...the Manager too...then the Players...success will come.
In the meantime ...all of us Fans, despite our different opinions, carry on caring...staying dedicated ..is the way to go.
Getting uptight and angry with other posters is a futile exercise and solves nothing...serves no purpose....

Thats all in the ' interpretation' and having a broad sense of humour...all embracing of fellow Cherries various angles and attitudes.

What on Earth is a 'valid' conversation...a conversation is a conversation...whatever falls into it !
Valid according to what authority ?....You ?

All posts apart from the Political ones relate back somehow to Boscombe Football surely...the sole reason for the Forum.

The sole reason for the forum maybe, but the forum is a community of people. The threads make up the forum, the threads have specific topics, these will often naturally go off on tangents at times as any conversation would. But your posts as you admit are off topic, antagonistic and deliberately trying to stop conversation and debate on a topic.

You often use excessive swearing and you’re antagonistic to many users of the forum by grouping them up solely to then insult them.

All of these things break the t&c and guidelines of the forum. More importantly it also ruins the forum experience for many. It’s not here solely for your entertainment, it’s here for others to enjoy or loathe.

I used a pub analogy with you before, which you said you understood and would try. But it doesn’t seem to have lasted.

Do you respect that this forum is for the use of others as well as yourself?

Generally speaking yes. But when the poster has admitted to deliberately trying to sabotage all threads then that breaks the community aspect of the forum.

If a post is annoying, but doesn’t break any t&c or guidelines then sure, if it’s on topic don’t use the alert function.

If it’s just a “disrupter” post, hit the alert button and I’ll move it to this thread. Then anyone who wants to read old new Cherry’s ramblings can do so. Those who have them on ignore won’t see them and those who actually want to discuss a topic in full flow can also do as they wish without that being taken away from them.

It's probably a bit of a nightmare for the mods to do regularly but appreciate the thread split.

Others do and always have, for over 20 years on AFCB message boards. If you don't find their contributions interesting then that's fine, everyone is different, but at least give others the courtesy of enjoying the contributions of others.

No one is stopping you from contributing if you stick to the t&c's. You even now have your own ramblings thread.
