I liked the 'pop up' bars scattered around the ground. It saved me a lot of time queueing and allowed me observe our fine team of stewards police the 'soft ticket show'. All stopping the old boys, fully bedecked in AFCB merch, to produce their tickets and often ignoring the others. I sailed through several times without showing mine.
On entrance to the main stand, I was requested to be searched, not verbally but with mime, by a senior charmless chancer. Not so much as a thank you or kiss my a$se once search complete. My seat within the ground also allowed me to observe steward pedantry at its finest. I only go to half dozen home games a season, I attend the majority away games, where, with very few exceptions (Brentford), get treated with respect, common sense and humor. All of which AFCB could learn a thing or two about.
