TRIPPER COMMITS TO SPURS

More now on the news that Kieran Trippier has signed a new five-year deal with Tottenham.

The 26-year-old, who joined Spurs from Burnley in 2015, enjoyed a superb 2016/17 season and is likely to become Mauricio Pochettino's first-choice right-back following Kyle Walker’s departure to Manchester City.

I think we should honour the continuing efforts of Neil Blake to:
a) smile in a not-quite-smiley sort of way
b) wear a lot of button up knitted pullovers.

For each photo when you upload there's an option to change the pixel height and width, it auto fills when yu select a photo, so I normally just halve or quarter it straight off the bat

edit: you found it

yeah sorry - took me a while but thanks for helping! I went down the imgur route

My heart sank when I saw he was starting at LB vs West Ham but he's actually pretty good there! Developed a good understanding with Fraser already. I wonder if Eddie began preparing him for this eventuality when Brad Smith got his injury.

From an attacking perspective he was superb at times today, thought he did well against the Spammers, but stepped it up again today.

It helps when you have someone infront of you like fraser who works his socks getting back and helping you out defensively. Francis doesnt have that luxury on the right.

I was wondering if we'd have been better off having Francis in the centre and putting Cook at LB (would not move Ake, not in the form he's in) and Smith at RB.

But Smith has done well at LB, so same again for Brighton, I guess....

...still prefer him at RB...certainly better than Franno...incidentally BBC saying that Steve |Cook gave the ball away for their goal, I thought that it was Francis?

The whole team deserved today's three points...hope that we can take that into Monday's game at The Amex!

Nope Number 3 Steve Cook just happened to be where Francis normally would be.

Smith was electric today. A bit of a scare when he looked injured, but think it was just residual stud marks from a challenge.
If he keeps playing like that, Daniels is going to have a hard time getting back in.
