AFC Bournemouth v Brighton

This is seaweed. I feel incredibly and absolutely confident we are going to take 3 points from this game. Short break between games, not much time for them to focus on adapting their game to our rather predictable style. Ramsdale was on fire in Norwich. If there is a team we should have confidence against, given last year, it is Brighton. As long as our defenders don’t try to play goalie and, this is the big one, our forwards and wings understand it is not illegal to shoot: this is the game we turn it around. Last month was the first time seaweed has beaten us in 12 matches. A fluke. Don’t give up a goal in the first two minutes and let normalcy restore. Finally, a night to celebrate. We simply do not lose to seaweed at home on a weekday night. Doesn’t happen, won’t happen.
I fear that your optimism is completely delusional, but fair play for managing to remain optimistic all the same!

Yes to this ! Despite the doom and gloom I implore the Cherries fans to get fully behind the boys tomorrow night and make it an intimidating atmosphere for Brighton, who by all accounts are not feeling too confident themselves right now.
:utc: and let‘s make some noise !!!

Seriously this is a Biggy....for Brighton too.
The line ups will be whatever.
I dont expect it to flow nicely like the Stour in April with pretty orchids poking through the dew on the grassy meadows.
This game will Boil like Vesuvius!
We need to nail it in the middle, rough it up maybe - but be cool and rational at the back....up front it has to be more versatile with decisive actions.
Remember the winning goal in the 4-3 v Liverpool....smashed into the box with power...and leapt on as it bounced around the goalkeeper.. That.

You know that's what we should be doing. The majority on this forum know that's what we should be doing. Eddie won't do it though.

"We fail from the back, lack pace in attack, he went to Burnely regrets coming back ....."

We got a Manager named Eddie,
His decisions are Crazeeee
He doesn't know his best eleven,
What cant he ask his mate Harreee
We tell him every time
But he just won't change his mind
He doesn't have to stick to 4-4-2

Apart from the last time we played them, allowing Mooy free range in midfield and leading some to compare him to Pele, we usually get a result that kick starts is. Here’s hoping.
If Lerma is fit he can sit in that area that Mooy ran rampant in last time around. Stick Surman in the midfield so he can emulate that jinking run and low finish from two years back. In that same vein can we get Fraser and Wilson from last season back?

Formations...too much made of this...Man City , Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs...formations all to f#ck this season!

Not many getting it right...Sheff Utd maybe...with the momentum from promotion...just like us ..fresh and unknown!

Its about Leadership and Ongoing Adaptation over 90+ minutes....substitutions playing a part...IF used properly.

We will probably need extra layers on tomorrow, temp before and during game will be between 1-2 degrees C tomorrow night.
