Aston Villa v AFC Bournemouth

I get out a lot, believe me! My daughter uni'd at Birmingham, so many trips over the years to lots of different areas. Love the architecture, food, booze, arty bits, people (well, mainly). I love lots of uk towns and cities, brum is up there near the top.
Nice to hear and hope your daughter did well or doing well there.

Injury updates AFCB - Relevant paras. Things look better.

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook is in the final stages of his rehabilitation, manager Eddie Howe has revealed.

The midfielder hasn't been put back in full training with the squad, but has taken part in smaller sections of training.

“Lewis Cook is out working in America with a specialist and it’s going really well.

“It’s good news and he’s in the last stages before he can return to full training with the team.”

“We’re waiting to see the extent of Arnaut Danjuma’s injury, which was unfortunate.

“Lloyd Kelly won’t be too long hopefully, but both him and Arnaut will miss this game.

“Andrew Surman is fit as is Harry Wilson, and Dan Gosling is still working back from his operation.

How is that better?!

After what seems like a never ending soggy summer ( did we really have record high temperatures? ), it's back on the Magic Bus today. Off to Burrr-ming-hum (so there's some time travel involved).
Picking young Mr. Trent up at Rownhams, so we're in for some serious Eddie Stobart game. It all gets a bit competitive between Rob and Debbie the Driver at times, one of the Northern trips nearly ended early at Cherwell Services last season. Dave, The P.A. was saying something along the lines of " Yeah Rob, she mess with us like that". If the Good Lady hadn't knocked his nunchucks out his hand, I don't know where it would have ended : )

We need to go out for an early goal to silent the Villa crowd who will be well up for this game.

This will then put pressure on the Villa new boys who have not played in the Premier League before.

We know we have the players to do it.

Don’t get to away games these days, used to go regularly back in the 1960’s.

Had a season ticket at Dean Court since when John Bond became our manager in the early 1970’s

Will be listening on the radio this afternoon, pity this is one Sky are not showing live.

Were you on the Holte end when Ted MacDougall scored that diving header?

Hope it’s a good game enjoyed by all there.
