Coldest away days

Stoke last year was cold, I was very thankful to be far enough back that I benefited from the metal sheet to the left of the stand that only protects the back 10 or so rows from the wind.

Blyth away was cold, as was Leicester last year. I do also recall a Friday night away at Northampton 2-3 days before Xmas about 10 years ago, that was absolutely Baltic. Drove home in freezing fog following a 4-1 defeat. Chesterfield away in the cup a few years back also deserves a mention.

Rotherham away on a Tuesday night having made our way through a blizzard on the M1 would be hard to beat though.

Yep good summary. Thought a decent part of the day would be fish and chips on the (blustery) seafront but lunch tasted off. Awful day!

Stevenage away in our League 1 promotion season. OMG it was cold that night. Late penalty giving us our first win in 5 games then propelled us on to promotion, so it was a character building experience for the players!

Gillingham, I think during the Easter Weekend, maybe 7-10 years ago.
Sat in the open stand with a plastic sheet. I was covered in sleet.
Took ages to thaw out and warm up !
