Bowler left footed, so Parker more likely to play him on the left. But we've got Christie, Tavernier and Brooks (when fit). Doesn't make a lot of sense.

If 4 at the back, Kelly, Senesi, Mepham, Hill and Lerma if needed seems more than sufficient to me.

He can play an inside forward type winger with 3 at the back but agree he probably wants the flexibility to switch formations. 3 at the back clearly seems to be his strong preference though.
