I think it is the fault with our system with our two wide attackers isolated on the touchline and Solanke up the middle on his own.Is it the fault with the players or the way we are set up? With two wide players hugging the touchlines, one midfielder sitting deep and another looking to get forward, there is often acres of space in the centre of the pitch empty of our players. If one midfielder ventures into this space he often has few options for moving the ball up the field via triangular passing interchanges. Would it help the midfielders if the two wide players moved away from the touchlines more?
Acceptable to me. Who goes out?So best guess is Moore plus one of Rothwell and Lawrence.
Yeah, I think the term that goes with that is ... Dream on sunshine! If Rooney thinks he will have the final say on transfers with the administrators he is going to be disappointed.

If nothing else it will unsettle Rothwell and Blackburn.
Alex Crook: ..."I would expect this to get done between now and Monday "
Not many other times for it to happen, as Monday is the deadline
Do we really need any more central midfield players? We seem to have a glut of quality central midfielders as it is!
Laurence and/or Rothwell might be a marginal improvement in centre mid, but surely our main priority (other than centre forward) should be pace options down both left and right wings?
Lerma, Kilkenny and Billing seemed to be good enough to help win games earlier in the season and Pearson was very effective when needed, so why are we looking to move away from that?
Surely all SP needs to do is to look at the team line ups for our winning streak, go back to that and use this transfer window to sort out a decent 'Plan B'!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
This is what troubles me about Parker. Some very good players seem to suddenly fall out of favour and go into a black hole. Steve Cook, Pearson, Kilkenny. Guys who are solid, hard to play against like Pearson, or with the creativity that we need like Kilkenny.Kilkenny is a strange one, has bags of quality, a beautiful cross-field ball, looks very composed but Parker doesn't seem to favour him
True, but how many times has billing not turned up, how many games has cook look ineffective.

None of our midfielders score goals apart from Billing when he can be arsed.Do we really need any more central midfield players? We seem to have a glut of quality central midfielders as it is!

There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason.
