I’m not concerned about immigration as much as you are. I voted remain for the three reasons I stated. By its own admission this government has missed every one of its environmental targets and that is completely unacceptable. Immigration has proved to be a financial benefit to our growth and economy which means bugger all if we’re killing the planet.

Apologies. I mixed up mass building on green belt to accommodate a growing population as impacting the environment.

Should an organisation promoting globalised world trade be the opposite of what environmentalists want? You'd think promoting UK based production of resources would be the best way forward wouldn't you?
 
The Immigrant thing is very down the middle.....a large proportion of immigrants has been very beneficial, Nurses, Doctors, factory workers.. about 70% positive ...another large proportion have been invo!ved in crime of various types....in my area this year Rumanians, Bulgarians, Lithuanians and Latvians have been an increasing problem with their crimes involving unmarked vans around our industrial estates stealing copper and other metals...on housing estates, emptying garages, in particular in areas where older residents live , during the Winter months...in the Summer they are working on fruit picking farms etc. Different areas have different problems..its not all about London or Rotherham or Bradford!
Better immigration vetting/ control could make it 95% Beneficial.
And its no good saying Oh dont the local Cornishmen do crime then?
Yes of course...but they are already here...born here! We dont need more..we have enough baddies!

I'm not the one saying I'm pro-EU for environmental reasons. Surely a protectionist UK economy is even better for environmental reasons so you should want out.

Ah, the logic of Derek. Beats me every time. Our government is pathetic at protecting the environment, the EU is very good at it. I give up trying to argue with you.

The main losers will be the politicians when it comes round to vote for them again and they find apathy from the British public.

These same politicians who moan why those who can vote don’t always use it.

The Referendum brought a lot of these missing voters back, but if they don’t think they can trust the MPs, they will disappear along with a lot of other voters who are discusted with

Brexit tbh has become a distraction from huge problems like Terrorism and Global Warming!

The last peice of ISIS Territory has been captured/ controlled ? Oh my God NO NO NO.......their territory is scattered around the World......... Not Land! ...IN Houses and Factories.... in North Africa , USA , Indonesia, Phillipines, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Oldham, Burnley, Bradford, Leeds, Batley, Cardiff, Boscombe, Pokesdown and Winton!!!!! Security guys ...Security and Vigilance! Last strongholds oblitererated ? ..Ahahahahaha hahahahoho!

You never seem able to come back with a counter argument - you just criticise my 'logic' and apparently that's the argument won.

Btw green protectionism isn't my logic.
