I will be amazed if May is PM this time next week. She's a gonner.
I’m not concerned about immigration as much as you are. I voted remain for the three reasons I stated. By its own admission this government has missed every one of its environmental targets and that is completely unacceptable. Immigration has proved to be a financial benefit to our growth and economy which means bugger all if we’re killing the planet.I was looking at the Socialist party viewpoint. (The only reason I mentioned it was that they were hanging a bloody great flag off a bridge today) and then I wondered why they didn't smash the place up as usual. They support freedom of movement but not when its being used to support Capitalism in the form of a labour force...which is exactly what the UK and Germany have done.
Protecting the environment ? Does that and uncontrolled Immigration go hand in hand. Not on my travels around the UK it doesn't.

She looks on very thin ground, but, who will replace her?

As usual, I’ve no idea where you’re going.Should an organisation promoting globalised world trade be the opposite of what environmentalists want? You'd think promoting UK based production of resources would be the best way forward wouldn't you?
Point proven, thank you. There is absolutely no need to build on green belt. However, this government doesn’t believe in protecting it.Apologies. I mixed up mass building on green belt to accommodate a growing population as impacting the environment.

But you have said previously that that are no better than little Englanders as they don’t promote globalised trade but prefer to act as a small cartel.Pretty straightforward. I'm suggesting the key to reducing carbon footprints is to reduce globalised production and to concentrate on local production.

Ah, the logic of Derek. Beats me every time. Our government is pathetic at protecting the environment, the EU is very good at it. I give up trying to argue with you.I'm not the one saying I'm pro-EU for environmental reasons. Surely a protectionist UK economy is even better for environmental reasons so you should want out.

It’s actually very easy. Ask the EU how they do it.Pretty hard to protect it, when the population is growing by half a Million people a year.
It's different circumstances. A group of losers marching to get another vote, they're not even guaranteed to win the 2nd time round, against a bunch of really pissed off folk who have had democracy overruled.
