Yet she's just had the most humiliating and incompetent week I've ever seen a UK PM have, which has included one of the most badly thought out speeches I can remember. Fancy deliberately trying to alienate all of your MPs a week before you need them to back your deal. The only possible way she will get her cabinet back on board is to promise to resign straight after the vote. If she loses the vote she'll have to extend A50 by two years, resign and call a general election.
 
The fact she has upset almost every Tw#t in that Parlaiment.....Id say she was pretty damn good......id have her alongside me in battle any day!
Its not her thats incompetent....its most of the others......The Tories Elected her as Leader...they should back her 100% on this deal!

I will never vote Tory again! About 10% chance i'll vote Labour when Corbyn gets back by his pond with his fishing rod!

This is our PM ffs...not F'king McClaren at QPR!

The elected by the party leader of the conservative and unionist party remains in post as she retains full/some/no support of those who democratically chose her.

The sensible self serving wannabe pms are staying in hiding behind the sofa while Hammond appears to be making the best of a bad job.

If there is General Apathy at future Elections, that will only help people like Chope...those types have their strange hard core support in pine- tree clad forts. They screw their floppy heads on their scrawny necks each morning and walk their baby tigers up and down the Chines...totally oblivious to the world of unemptied dustbins or closed libraries . You can find these types on the Jurassic beaches of Dorset scavenging for fossils in October after the daft Summer tourists have done all the hard work with 2 lb hammers they bought for 25 quid in Lyme Regis gift shops!
Modern Britain....I could write the biggest novel ever about the Madness of our Society. Britain Mad? Or not... as I was told by a lady who was loading her trolley with 20 × £10 each Easter Eggs in February in Morrisons....fck knows what they cost in Harrods!

Anyway....perhaps it could change with compulsory voting for all over 15!

Apathy toward politics is the worst thing if we dont want more of the same!

Why do so many on the left (and I am not referring to this forum or labelling anyone here as left or right, except TednPhil and he has self-identified) can support the membership of the EU?

The unelected European Commission was negotiating, completely behind closed doors, the TTIP.

TTIP would have destroyed the NHS to the benefit of American and Swiss drug and insurance companies.

And therein lies the problem. Everybody has an opinion and at best it is ill informed, guided by a press with an agenda either way and because of social media that opinion is heard and expected to be respected.

But not all opinion is equal, asking the great unwashed for their opinion on membership of the EU was never a great idea, and so opinion trumps fact in this case. We live in a parliamentary democracy and the elected members should be the ones to decide if we stay, go or jump up and down.

Just my opinion...............

Insults? James O'Brien listed some terms. If he thinks he is talking about him or his best mate then maybe the arrow hit home? He didnt name anyone?
