No, I mean the Benn act. May was never going to for a no deal. You mean the rapid pace we'd made before that has suddenly changed everything?

An awful lot voted to remain too. We know exactly how many...
Too many to ignore though, as the rise of support for the Lib Dems shows. You have the Tories led by an ardent remainer who changed his mind when he saw a route to No:10, Labour led by an ardent leaver who doesn’t have a bloody clue what policy to take, the Lib Dems who are the party of remain, the Greens who are the only party to campaign for a second referendum and the Brexit party who essentially are a bunch of crackpots who will nicely split the Tory vote. There was a lot of them, just not enough.

The next election will be all about Brexit so I think a lot of voters will conveniently forget past misdemeanours. I think the Lib Dems will destroy the Labour vote and many Tory remain voters will swing toward them, too. I could be wrong but I called the last election right so I’m feeling smugly confident.I wouldn't trust the Lib Dems. They got into bed with the Tories not that long ago.

The same old issues that actually impact peoples daily lives are much more important than the battle to be leader of the conservative party.Wasn't the last election supposed to be about brexit? Once called it went back to the same old arguments and loads of remain voters went back to voting on the same old issues (myself included).

The distraction that is brexit didnt quite fool enough of the voters to give may her strong and stable majority.

Was it about Brexit, though? It looked more like socialism v capitalism. In the run up the rags were wall to wall Corbyn bashing. Hardly a mention of Brexit.Wasn't the last election supposed to be about brexit? The blame lies with all the Parties in Parliament who have used Brexit for their own political ends.
They are a disgrace.

Obviously you’re entitled to your view but with October 31st looming I fear this election has everything to do with Brexit. All the campaigning has been about nothing else.I know, but it started out as a brexit election - that was the reason it came about. As soon as actual campaigning started the parties started talking about other policies and brexit took a back seat. Perhaps this one will be different but I think the average voter has a list of things that are more important than brexit.

Strong rumour tonight that the UK are paying Hungary a wedge to veto any extension.
