Non - General Election

You've posted this crap loads of times without ever explaining yourself.

"Topple out nation's way of life" where are you getting this b*llocks from?

SDD, .....PLEASE don’t accuse me of posting crap just because it differs from your viewpoint. I can and will post whatever I wish, within the confines of the forum’s guidelines. There are many pages relating to Brexit, but I’ve only posted a few times, unlike you, and I don’t think I have slagged you off personally.
Rob.... There is little new for me to post.
Frankly, I am disgusted with the vast majority of MPs. They are looking after themselves and don’t have our nation’s long term interests at heart.
This is my opinion on this subject. I am entitled to it.

We all give our opinions Paul, and we all get challenged.

We could be in deep Sh#t.....in a few years...because if Scotland, Wales and NI get Independance...due to loss of faith in London handling its affairs to a degree of satisfaction...see them get Feisty( er )as a result of all this nonsense!
We could then have a scenario of 4 small nations......and land masses that all fit into France or Germany several times....pixie States! The ROI would seem larger than now and more powerful...Not good Batman!

Great Britain was large enough to compete...either In or Out of the EU.

England would roughly equate to Portugal or Greece.
Scotland to Serbia.
Wales to Slovenia.
NI to Malta.
In terms of Clout!
I dont wish to purvey Doom....but if we ask for it...we get it.

Why aren't you uncomfortable with my first point? You pass it off with a shrug.

Thats always been the case. Its just on a bigger scale this time. (He said, having just noticed I've passed your point off with a shrug)!

It's a fair point I'm just saying that I think all sides in elections are up to the same tricks. Whilst some of the digital channels and methodology are new they've always used data and targeted campaigns to try and win.

I think there are loads of areas of social media that need to be looked at, their impact on elections being one of them.

Well if you post unsubstantiated b*llocks you're going to get called out for it aren't you.

I'm not attacking you personally I'm attacking the content of your post. If you are prepared to post stuff you probably should be able to handle the criticism that comes with it. We all get grief on here.

Feel free to back up your post and prove me wrong.

I have just read that McDonnell suggests that Corbyn should lead a caretaker Government if Johnson is toppled.
McDonnell looks up to Marxist, Leninist, Trotskyist ideology, and wants to topple our nation’s way of life and replace it with the MLT philosophies in which he believes.
Lord help us all.

hopefully. this society needs BIG changes!

Ive just looked back of some my opinions...because I do them quickly with little thought, research or filter...just sh#t that comes to mind....
but they are surprisingly good...extremely accurate ...for the moment at least.
Ive had the whip took away once, deservedly...but will try to stay straight now!

Irony overload from the royal we.

Hahahaha, Corbyn's little magic money tree.
The proposed nationalisation of rail, water, mail and electricity distribution companies, will result in huge government borrowing to fund public investment. Who's going to pay for all this do you think? The costs involved will dwarf HS2

The real impact of conservative financial incompetence,

DORSET & Wilts fire brigade have lost a fifth of their staff in just ten years, shock figures show.
The combined services have seen 258 firefighters' jobs axed, according to figures analysed by the Fire Brigades Union.
And despite former chancellor Philip Hammond declaring an 'end to austerity' last year, the service lost another three per cent of its staff in 2018 with a further 37 job losses.

My posts may be b*llocks but very rarely unsubstantiated.

I'll give Paul one thing though. At least his post was clear and one could understand the point he was making. As opposed to meaningless drivel with no discernible point, repeated over and over again for years on end.

Tell us some more about how currencies work Jim.

I'm reluctant to get involved in these kind of threads, but i can't for the life of me see why Paul's earlier post was in any way controversial. John McDonnell is openly Marxist and his plans would certainly transform (or topple) our present way of life.

For example :

So Paul's point was perfectly valid, I'd say. Can't see why that deserves an abusive put-down.

Agree with David

A valid opinion if you wish to have it , but not for a shadow Chancellor or god forbid a Chancellor . Its a bit laughable when he has concerns about no deal yet wants to bring the whole system crashing down .

The Tory capitalist system is in the process of destroying itself. He wants to topple greed based economic forces to improve our "way of life" not destroy it. You only have to look at the poverty around us and the shocking state of public services in this country to see that "our way of life" that Paul seems to be so worried about is not exactly working as it stands.

That’s a rather different point than claiming someone had posted “unsubstantiated b*llocks“ is it not?

It actually looks very well substantiated.

You also appear to agree that the country’s “way of life” should be changed? So again cannot quite see the issue?

Unless it was the “lord help us” line and then I’d have thought you’d preferred to have just let Druss deal with that?

Yes, but that is a separate question.

Paul's original point was that John McDonnell wanted to "topple" our way of life, i.e. overthrow the capitalist system. As we've documented, this is clearly the case.

Now, whether or not a state-controlled socialist system would provide an improved way of life compared with what we currently have is another question altogether.

Maybe I should have been clearer in that I was asking him to back up his point with evidence, as others have done for him. Making drastic claims without backing them up is what I have a problem with.

I made the "unsubstantiated b*llocks" claim after he told me not to criticise his point of view.
