Hopefully all these big cat sightings are true aswell, the deer here need a predator.

Same here in Pennsylvania we don’t really have a large predator of deer and they cause so much damage on cars every year. Insurance companies go crazy . We have coyotes that kill some and bears eat a lot of fawns but we def need wolves or mountain lions.Hopefully all these big cat sightings are true aswell, the deer here need a predator.
There's a predator all right .....P..ikeys
The deer have quad bikes? If only.
I think they've moved on these days.
Years ago my dog was forever appearing out of the bushes with assorted bits of deer and their offal.
Poachers used to gut and cut off hooves etc. to reduce the weight.
haven't seen that for a while, also the local bush telegraph seldom mentions poaching.
Plenty of quad bikes and tools being stolen though.
In which case, we need more .....P...ikeys!There's a predator all right .....P..ikeys
Oh dearThe deer have quad bikes?
No wonder they’re not being predated as much
They got down to Dorset just before Winterwatch Stan. Made their home in a tree in Dacombe Drive Poole which had a big mistletoe bush in it, there and another one in ASDA car park in Canford Heath - eight of them just fltting between the two for two or three weeks. Quite a treatJust seen 8 waxwings. Looks like they are arriving in big numbers this year.
They're a fabulous bunchSlightly off topic but yesterday morning I visited The Cherry Tree Nursery off the Northbourne roundabout. I hsven't been there for some time as the Kings Park Nursery was my first port of call now sadly closed.
What a great atmosphere at the Cherry Tree over and above the very reasonable prices. I noticed their range of plants has increased so if you are able pop in to have a look and support a great organisation. A win win.
Have they been mixing their toasties?10 years ago or so rabbits were in abundance at Littledown and you would see many grazing by the copper dean roundabout.
I'd like to know why they all got vanquished because I don't think the blame is all on foxes, this country is one of the least threatening in world with wild predators, I think the government should explain their disappearance,
Poisoned of course.10 years ago or so rabbits were in abundance at Littledown and you would see many grazing by the copper dean roundabout.

It’s not nice, though. Last year we kept finding them in the garden with blood dripping from their eyes. They seem happier this year. Far fewer of them but joyously hopping about.New disease

Barely a rabbit to be seen here
Which is fine by me
