Premier League 22/23

Fulham and Forest have already spent big. Fulham just paid 20 million for a midfielder. Forest signed Awoyini for 17.5 mil' , & Henderson on loan, which I think was a good deal. Both clubs have made big money offers for other players at clubs in Europe.
Palace want Gibbs-White and the fee mentioned was 20 million, I think that is a good deal for him. Crystal Palace do really well with their recruitment. We really need some defenders and decent back up/cover for Travers, other than that I think we have enough quality.

Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal to sign Mainz defender Moussa Niakhate.
The fee is understood to be worth €15m including add ons.

Niakhate is expected to have a medical today before flying out to Alicante to join the rest of the squad for the pre-season tour.

Niakhate was Forest’s number one target in the central defensive position. The deal had looked off last week when the clubs couldn’t come to an agreement on price.

Once completed, he will become Forest’s fourth signing of the summer.

Forest broke their transfer record by signing Taiwo Awoniyi for £17.5m from Union Berlin. Defender Giulian Biancone has joined from Troyes while keeper Dean Henderson has made the move from Manchester United on a season long loan.

Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has promised manager Steve Cooper he will be given the resources to build a team capable of competing in the Premier League.

Nottingham Forest are in talks with Bayern Munich over a €10million deal for left-back Omar Richards.

The 24-year-old joined the Bundesliga giants from Reading last summer and signed a four-year deal, but he endured a frustrating first campaign in Germany where he made just 17 appearances in all competitions.

Nottingham Forest are close to agreeing deals with Liverpool for right-back Neco Williams and Bayern Munich for left-back Omar Richards.

There's still work to do but Forest are increasingly confident of concluding both signings.

Manager Steve Cooper was promised backing from owner Evangelos Marinakis and, once concluded, Williams and Richards would make it six signings this summer for Forest - taking the total outlay to more than £60m.

With a few key players leaving and then bringing in this many - bit of a gamble. Seen teams not do too well with this amount of churn following promotion.

However, having said that, Cooper is getting some nice backing this window. I like Cooper and hope he does well, but just not with Forest :D

Neco Williams is a strong signing

So £1 million more than Phillips.
