Didn't watch all of it but from what I did see of the latter stages Japan just wanted it more, it's a cliche I know. But Germany weren't putting their bodies on the line whilst Japan threw everything at everything. Neuer even kinda dived out the way of the winner.
 
Thems is Norwich fans during Lockdown when the Supermarkets ran out of Veg.. ..then Delia rocked up in a helicopter and starting chucking wobbly carrots out ...the one at front left with red hair is Tommy Turnip and the blond- streaked guy is Peter Parsnip !

I did the same in a bar as a kid, when one was being shown on the TV.
I didn’t understand the hostility towards my Dad, which then ensued :oops:
Apparently these bull stabbers have hero status, viewed much like the world’s best footballers in the eyes of the fans of bull stabbing.
So me cheering at the geezer getting gored was actually like somebody cheering at Messi getting his severed leg kicked into row Z.
Cultural differences eh ? We live and learn !
