Summer transfer rumours

Reading defender Liam Moore has handed in a transfer request, according to Sky sources.

The former Leicester player, who arrived at the Madejski Stadium in 2016, has been the subject of bids from Brighton this summer.
 
Late last night on Radio 5 Live, Tim Vickery (South American football journalist) hinted that we were still interested in Diego Laxalt who he said was really more of a midfielder/left winger (who could also cover at left back). He said West Ham had offered £10m (and were rejected) but that we were also very interested and that he could see us trying to get a deal... he finished by saying he was sure Laxalt would be a PL player by the time the window shuts.
 
JEANVIER AGREES DEAL

Brentford have agreed a £1.8m deal with Reims to sign centre-back Julian Jeanvier, Sky Sports News understands.

The 26-year-old is set to travel to London to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms.

The Bees have been after a new centre-back after selling John Egan to Sheffield United for £4m.

They were in talks with Olympiacos to sign Belgian Bjorn Engels but could not agree a deal
