Max-Alain Gradel

Always wanted Max to break through so much...

Dealt with a lot sh*t whilst here, and I never felt he was utilised in the right position for us... Good luck to him and I'm sort of glad he's not being sold to another PL side, where he undoubtedly would have made an instant impact and become a fans favourite somewhere else...

There does seem to be a lot of 'paper' talk atm, and no actual signings... The whole Jefferson Lerma thing has gone quiet, for obvious reasons I guess, but no real signs of anyone else... Just a lot of speculation on bids...

You can see what Eddie is up against with high prices being asked for players from the lower leagues.

West Ham seem to be linked with several players still since their recent signings.

Linked until they put an official offer in, that consists of last years training kit, party pack of marital aids from Ann Summers, and a dinner with Karren Brady

I really don't think there will be any signings announced till the 1st July.
Then the new accounting year starts, and you can all then massage the figures to suit.
Wouldn't surprise me if 2/3 deals are already tied up.

Good - waste of space!
When your on that sort of money - you do the business.
Afcb is not here to take in welfare cases!
You roll em up , roll it out or you get out!

Too many celebrated when he came back, because he was great in L1.
Facts are, not PL standard, never was, never will be.
Injuries aside, not up to it.

More money spunked by people who really don't know how to handle the large funds that come in to the club each year.

Mark my words...there will be money flunked again this year.

Rantie might still cut it tho!

We'll never know what would have happened if he hadn't got injured on his returning home debut

However anyone who was up at Newcastle for the priceless victory that secured survival in our first PL season (and sent them with McClaren down) will appreciate what Gradel can do. That win alone was worth millions to AFCB and he was pivotal to it.

Looked prem league standard pre injury when came on as a sub vs villa with one chance being cleared near the line and also at West Ham when he was instrumental in a the sensational 4-3 win. Scored in the 3-2 win over Swansea which effectively kept us up.

Agree we have wasted money but wrong example Imho.
