A lot of people must have outgrown their trainers over the past couple of months...

Ohec reports on a queue outside Prlmark in Poole Dolphin centre.
'They think it's all over' and idiots are forming crowds all over the place. It could possibly be all over for the vulnerable relative they go home and infect. I can understand the 'excitement' of being let out but for goodness sake keep it within the rules! Some scientists are predicting a massive third wave with 50-60000 deaths, probably scaremongering, but do we want to take the risk?
Where are all these third wave deaths going to come from ? 62% of the population has had at least one jab, 15% have had 2 jabs. the number vaccinated is rising by approx half a million each day. All the vulnerable and over 50's have had at least one jab, most of the vulnerable have had 2 jabs. The vaccination virtually eliminates the risks of hospitalisation or death.'They think it's all over' and idiots are forming crowds all over the place. So the Kent variant that was 30-50% more deadly, it now turns out to be Zero % more deadly.
Remember the hysterics at the time by the scientists, the government and media.
More bollox to scare us.

It is the B1.1.7 variant that was detected early in the New Year. It is the same one as far as I can see.Aren't these different variants? The recent one detected in Kent that originated in Nigeria is thought to be more deadly. The 'original' Kent one was always said to spread faster but they didn't think it was more deadly in my memory.

That view changed a couple of weeks later. It was claimed to have a higher mortality rate not more deaths because of higher infection rates.Hysterics by the media maybe. But the message was always pretty clear from the scientists and government. It was more contagious, so more people infected thus more deaths, but the strain itself wasn’t any more deadly.
