The big issue is there is likely to be a few teams who won't know their fate until possibly late June, as there will be another appeal obviously...

Hardly a disincentive to balance the books if just lose one win vs likely relegation if don’t sell

there were 5 sub windows in second half, a injury, a goal and a forest player was given a yellow card for time wasting so 11 mins is about right this season
 
This was certainly a game of two halves.

First half the Hatters had 3 shots with 0 on target.

Second half they had 10 shots with 5 on target and in the end were very unlucky to lose.

They are a side who fight to the end and don’t give up until the final whistle.

Stoppages and add-on time gets longer each season....
Big club clubs will rough up players from smaller teams to get more time added.....knowing they stand more chance of scoring in that time due to their quality..and the quality of subs brought on late !
 
Five out of the next seven matches for Luton are away, with trips to Tottenham, Arsenal and Man City included (and us, of course).

Hasn't it always been the same? Bigger clubs have better players, tend to play better for the whole match rather than in patches.
These days the top clubs (dare I say 'elite' bring on top internationals) think Man City's bench. But they have that big asterisk against them...

Some clubs have 'substitution managers', responsible for making sure the subs know their role and are warm and ready.
We have come a long way from managers looking at the bench and saying, " Get warm, you're on in a couple of minutes"

Even a little tinpot club on the south coast can bring international players on from the subs bench these days.
 
Luton are a funny team. Actually have some real quality going forwards but their defence looks lower championship standard. If they had any decent defenders they’d be safe comfortably. As it is it will be a miracle if they survive with their remaining fixtures. Would love to see Rob Edwards here some day though, love his direct style of play.

the extra injury time was brought in to stop the time wasting which as forest player was booked for it then they were guilty in extending the match that little more.
the added on time is the same for both teams as well

Small clubs fans really need to stick together..that's where my emotions lie..

...before the seasons end WE will be on the end of some sh*t versus the big clubs believe me !

It's inevitable that I will get involved in some extemporaneous scuffles with a few prima donna posters as this season evolves...but f√ck it...I will carry on speaking up for the old values that made this game a great spectator sport ...it is now no longer that.
More changes coming as Americans get their teeth into our National Sport.. Four 15 minutes quarters with Advert breaks.. blue cards / sin bin ... plus Heading the ball no longer part of the game...

so we should want the small clubs to win even if it pulls us closer to relagation zone,
let me think about that........ no thanks I will continue to hope that teams around us don't pick up points so we're closer to safety.
you my look at them in your favourite term "elite" but they are just another team (a very good team)
you carry on with your elitist attitude though

There are plenty of people that share my views about the modern game.
The PL is crap and you must be able to see that to some degree at least !
If we got pulled into the Relegation Zone ..that will be down to how WE have fared on the pitch over a season....nothing to do with any other small club !

but as a fan we want every chance to stay up and that's not wanting teams around us to win.
I have watched us in league 2 in league 1 in the championship in the cup and in the PL, I prefer watching the best in the world playing at our ground but I would still be going if we plummet and guess what I would still want teams around us to lose to give us the best chance of the highest position
